Dr.
Tami Radney – Veterinarian
Dr.
Radney is a 1989 graduate of Texas A&M University College of
Veterinary Medicine. With 16 years experience practicing in 7 different
states, Dr. Radney brings a unique perspective to practice. Her
special interests include surgery, pain management, and the human
animal bond.
Dr.
Radney resides in the country near Wood River with her husband (also
a veterinarian!) and four children. Outside of veterinary medicine
she actively shows horses with her children; loves gardening and
is an avid photographer.
When
her husband suffered a debilitating closed head brain injury in
2001, Dr. Radney qualified her dog Merle as a Certified Therapy
Dog and volunteered at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln.
Deb
Kober – Licensed Veterinary Technician
Deb
is a 1984 graduate of Nebraska school of Technical Agriculture Veterinary
Technology department and a member of the Nebraska Veterinary Technician
Association. She has 21 years of experience and in 1992 received
the honor of Nebraska Technician of the Year.
Deb
is responsible for numerous patient care duties including anesthesia,
surgical assistant, critical nursing care, radiology and laboratory
analysis.
Deb
has lived in NE her entire life and currently lives in Grand Island
with her husband, 5 children, 1 Rottweiler, 2 cats, 3 birds, dozens
of fish and 1 snake.
Merle
Radney – Customer Relations
Merle
is a 13 year old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix that was
born in Carrington, ND. Dr. Radney docked her tail at 3 days of
age and thus began a long-term relationship with veterinary medicine.
Merle easily mastered basic skills like housebreaking and obedience,
moving on to the more complicated “sit in the truck for hours
at the dairy farm while her owner is treating cows and not bark
at anything” and “stay in the office with the door open
and not come out even when bribed” skills that have made her
a valuable asset to her owner.
She
is an AKC Canine Good Citizen; has worked as an Angel Dog at Madonna
Rehab in Lincoln; and has been to countless school and 4-H demonstrations.
Currently she is a full time employee at VetCare – let her
take you on the clinic tour!!
Lori
Krolikowski Sander – Licensed Veterinary Technician
Lori
graduated from St. Martin’s College in Lacey, WA with a Bachelor
of Science Degree in Biology. Her original plan was to work with
human patients, but after teaching dog training for several years,
she discovered that veterinary work was her first calling. She then
completed her veterinary technician schooling at UNL-NCTA and has
worked as a technician for the past five years.
Lori is responsible for numerous patient care duties including surgical
anesthesia, radiology and laboratory analysis and has a special
interest in behavioral and training issues.
She
is a member of the Nebraska Veterinary Technicians Association,
and participates in numerous dachshund related groups. She and her
husband, David, live in Grand Island and enjoy traveling, snorkeling,
and spoiling their wiener dog, Benten.
Beth
Haggerty – Groomer
Beth
has worked as an animal groomer for nearly ten years, and has extensive
experience with all breeds and grooming styles. Skilled at both
dog and cat “makeovers” she enjoys making pets look
their best, but also provides therapeutic bath treatments for pets
with skin conditions.
A
master with the clippers, Beth can make even the shaggiest pooch
look like a Best in Show contender.
Beth
previously owned the Pet Spaw, a grooming services located in Grand
Island, NE, and shares her St. Libory home with several Yorkies,
two German Shorthair Pointers, two cats, a cockatiel and her husband,
Chuck.
